Background

I received my PhD in Organic Chemistry from The Ohio State University, and my B.S. in Chemistry from The University of Maryland Baltimore County. For the better half of the last decade, I have been providing high-quality education and mentorship to help students reach their academic goals. It is my goal to serve as a trusted ally, acting to champion the success of your academic endeavors.

While completing my doctorate, I had the privilege of conducting research alongside some of the most brilliant minds in chemistry. I also had the pleasure of teaching alongside exceptional professors, where I was exposed to the learning styles, common mistakes, and conceptual stumbling blocks of hundreds of students every semester. I felt a deep satisfaction from helping students learn how to learn and continued tutoring even after my teaching obligations were completed.

After receiving my doctorate, I entered into chemical industry at DuPont, researching cutting-edge semiconductor technologies. Outside of work, I continued training the next generation of chemists - now virtually using an online whiteboard. As my career advanced, I served on hiring panels, built a robust professional network, and mentored junior staff. Learning what STEM professionals actually want to see from candidates enabled me to begin developing students into their strongest selves and find success in their transition to the professional world.
