Stoichiometry limiting reagent
Chose the reagent with fewer moles (N2) as limiting without checking the 1:3 ratio. N2 is actually in excess because H2 runs out first.

Significant figures
Applied the multiplication rule (fewest significant figures, which would be 2) instead of the addition rule (fewest decimal places).

Periodic trends
Reversed the trend, assuming more protons and electrons make a larger atom. Greater nuclear charge actually contracts the radius across a period.

Question 5: Stoichiometry limiting reagent – Review
For the reaction N2 + 3 H2 -> 2 NH3, 2.0 mol N2 reacts with 3.0 mol H2. Which reagent is limiting, and how many moles of NH3 form?
The mole ratio, not the raw mole counts, decides the limiting reagent. Fully reacting 2.0 mol N2 would require 6.0 mol H2, but only 3.0 mol H2 is available, so H2 runs out first. Converting the limiting H2: 3.0 mol H2 times (2 mol NH3 per 3 mol H2) gives 2.0 mol NH3.
